What is this?
Using this site, you can select bus stops you use and generate "stickers" with CTA bus tracker texting instructions for each stop.
The CTA recently released a text gateway to the bus tracker system. You can now text "CTABUS [stop id]" to 41411 to find out when the next bus is arriving at any given stop.
The hitch is that you have to look up your stop IDs beforehand online. Wouldn't it be great if there were texting instructions at each of the stops you use?
This site is a tool to demonstrate how we, CTA users, could make good use of the awesome bus tracking features that have been released in 2009-10. This site is not affiliated with the Chicago Transit Agency (CTA). It is illegal to post notices on light poles or to deface CTA property.

Some stop IDs were out of date; this update fixes all that. We now use the GTFS data provided by the CTA.
